As far as the Frigidaire FRA186MT2 18500 BTU Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner is concerned, the numbers say it all. This well priced air conditioner is packed with 18500 BTUs per hour of cooling capacity and this makes it appropriate for use in large rooms reaching 1170 sq ft. For installation, it must be mounted through the wall or a window. The Frigidaire FRA186MT2 18500 BTU Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner comes with all the necessary appropriate electronic controls but to add to that there is also a full function remote control. It has three adjustable speeds for the fan and also four directional controls. The swing louvers can go left, right, up and down. This air conditioner also comes with a dehumidifier function and has a rigid filter than can slide out. It is energy star compliant.

This air conditioner is excellent for use in almost any room. It is energy star compliant which ensures that the air conditioner doesn't unnecessarily sap energy. The remote control makes it quite easy, if not convenient, to operate this air conditioner and the variable fan speeds also make it easy to find the settings that suite your needs the most. The dehumidifier is also an added advantage in this air conditioner. The filter can slide out and this makes it easy to remove for cleaning, maintenance or replacement in case it becomes ineffective. The filters are special antibacterial filters that will ensure that the air is not only cool but also safe to breathe in. Its price makes it a first choice when compared to other air conditioners in its class. |

This air conditioner can only be used in one room since it is not portable. The mounting also means that it requires a bit of space. If mounted on a window then one will have to compromise the beautiful scenery. |
