Worth the splurge for dark undereye circles! (Report Review)

MAC may finally have ended my years-long quest for the perfect undereye concealer. I've tried tons of formulas and none of them ever seem to come close to fully covering my dark circles.

I will grant you that mine are particularly bad, due to a busy lifestyle that allows for little sleep. So maybe for the majority of women, they don't need such a heavy-duty option. But if you do, then read on.

Mac Studio Finish Concealer comes in a little pot, as opposed to a stick or tube. Concealers are much like foundations, in that the container they come in is a good indicator of their coverage level. Something liquid in a tube will offer sheer coverage; a stick will offer medium coverage; and a pot or pan will offer the fullest coverage.

You apply this concealer with a small, stiff brush. It covered my dark circles completely, and blended well into my skin. There is a nice range of shades to choose from, so finding one to match your skin tone isn't difficult. I recommend getting shade advice from one of the girls at the MAC counter, because as with many other concealers, I ended up needing a shade a little darker than what I might have picked myself. You don't want to go too light and wind up with ghostly reverse raccoon eyes!

I also love that it has SPF 35, and is long-wearing. Even with providing such heavy coverage, it didn't look like under-eye spackle by lunchtime, but retained a nice, creamy consistency. Yay!

This concealer might be a little pricey but if you're like me and have tried all other formulas and brands to no avail, then it's well worth the splurge! Finally, I can look in the mirror and see me, not my circles.
Pros:  --Full coverage for dark circles
--Great SPF rating
--Creamy, not cakey
